Don’t rely on other peoples energy, rely on your own.  Build your energy up so much by filling your tanks, that you can’t even see,  hear or feel all the stuff that’s going on around you from other people. Of course, some things you can’t ignore, like if someone is being harmed,  but I’m talking about day to day life drama, that sensitive people can get caught up in.  Likewise, if you rely on other people’s good energies to feel good, when they are feeling down, it will bring you down. Life is hard and stressful sometimes,  fill your tanks, build yourself up, with the resources that I outline below, so you can have the good feeling energy and high vibes, that you deserve.

 

When you build yourself up, and I don’t mean to sound arrogant because it’s not.  It’s healthy to take care of yourself first, if you don’t you won’t be able to care for anyone else.  So build yourself up, fill your tanks, don’t let them get depleted.  There are usually warning signs when they start to get low,  get to know yourself and listen.  You won’t need to rely on other people’s energy to feel good,  It won’t matter what’s going on around you.

 

No matter where your stress and anxiety level is,  the approach is the same.  If you’re feeling a little off balance or in a deep depression and you feel like you’re drowning.  Life is best if it’s balanced.  Whether you’re thriving or just surviving you need to nurture yourself,  try to live a   balanced life and take baby steps every day consistently.  Some days you will just sit and look at the list but that’s o.k.  it’s still progress, and some days you will make strides.  And the list goes like this:

 

1. Spiritual  2. Mental/Emotional 3.Physical 4.Financial

 

1. Spiritual health: 

I put this at the top because for me it’s most important and I probably wouldn’t have survived anything in my life without this. Nurture yourself spiritually. You are a spirit in a physical body who wants to connect with your higher power, source, spirit, God, divinity.  There is so much available to you if you take the time to connect, pray, listen to divine guidance.  Rely on your higher power, who is abundant and waiting to help you. Access through prayer and meditation:

Prayer:

Just pray, ask, listen, write down what you receive.  be patient, it’s a process, feel the connection, the love, the grace. Do this every day, or several times a day, and watch miracles happen.

Meditation:

Be in the present moment, Breath deeply focusing on nothing else but the breath.  This is a huge manager of anxiety and stress.  When you block out everything around you even for a few minutes you can access a peace, calm center within yourself.  Do this several times a day and watch the healing begin.

2.Mental/Emotional health:

Take care of your emotions, feel them and realize that they just come and go. You are not your emotions rather a silent watcher of them.  Speak your truth. Sort your thoughts change negative thoughts and behaviors.

Positive quotes and affirmations:

can actually change the chemistry in your brain and body. Being grateful and appreciative actually changes your whole mindset.  You are loved, You are beautiful, You are good.  Remember a past success that you’ve had, rather than continuously playing the “I’m not good enough, I’m so dumb, no one loves me and I’m so fat and ugly” routine.  Stop and change your dialogue to yourself, because you don’t even realize how many times you’re saying this to yourself until you actually take notice.  And that’s what’s bringing you down, down, down.

Visualization:

What do you want your life to look like? In every area you probably already have a dream,  so why did you stop dreaming about it?  No one told you to stop, you just did.  Life gets busy with obligations and we forget, or we just don’t have time to dream.  We are so busy thinking for everyone else in our lives, but this is imperative to your mental and emotional health.  You have to visualize a dream.  Close your eyes and imagine what you want in your life, see and feel every detail of the dream,  it can take a while, and sometimes it happens quickly,  but if you consistently do this,  it can become your reality.

3.Physical health: Eat healthily, drink water, exercise

Exercise:

Just move.  Walk, stretch, run, bike, swim, do a class, lift some weights. just do something every day and that something will gradually increase more and more as you go.  you’ll feel better, and look better to yourself.

Eat healthily and drink water:

Drink a glass of water when you wake up, because your body is dehydrated, and drink a glass before bed, and plenty throughout the day. You’ll look and feel better.  Eat a  healthy balanced diet enriched with vitamins and minerals.  Eat smaller more frequent meals.  Limit alcohol, salt, and sugar.

4.Financial health:   Your money and Credit.

 

Money:

Respect it, and treat it right and it will stay.  Disrespect it and it will leave.  Your relationship with money is a very important one.  You must cultivate and nurture it like any other.   Money is currency, it’s energy.  Be thankful for what you have no matter what, and more will come.   We need money in this world, there’s nothing wrong with wanting it, so you can make your life more comfortable for you and your loved ones, and you can do more to help others.  But be thankful, respectful and faithful with it.  Don’t waste it, and save.

 

Credit: Pay all of your bills on time and you will have excellent credit.  Keep your debts low compared to your income. Keep it all under control, and you can have everything that you want.

If any of these are not right with you,  you will feel out of balance, so your goal is to try to feel in alignment.  The most important thing that you can do is try. You have everything that you need within you to fill all of your tanks and not rely on other peoples energy.
