Are you letting fear stand in your way of what you really want? If so learn to face it and do it anyway. The feeling of fear doesn’t ever go away, you just have to push through it to get to the other side, so that you can live the life that you want to live.
When I was starting my blog hoping to help and inspire others to live a better life by connecting to their spirit and rising up to live the life they were meant to live. I was scared, there was a lot of fear that I had to face and push through to put my writing into the world. First, there was the fear of building a website which is rather technical and I was not at all that kind of person when I started until I learned and applied it. Second, it was writing blog posts from my heart and bearing my soul on the page, then putting it out in the world for everyone to read. I’m actually a very private person and can be outgoing at times, but I’m also a bit introverted.
I had to face the fear and get to a place where I feel that the writing is coming through me to help others, it’s not about me at all, it’s about my reader and for my reader. I’m disconnected from the message. I don’t worry about what people think or say about my writing, my thoughts, my words, messages because it’s not for everyone. My reader wants, needs and understands it and that’s all that matters to me when it comes to my writing.
The fear that you feel is in your own head. Once you push through the fear you’ll get the confidence to keep going. As you keep moving forward and more challenges rise the more fears you will conquer as you face them and push through to the other side, feeling confident that you didn’t give in to your fears and shrink but rather rose to the challenge. There have been other times in your life when you pushed through fear, and times when you didn’t and let fear get in your way.
Ask yourself what’s the worst thing that could happen? It’s usually not that bad. Most of the time what you are about to do is not going to kill you.
Put yourself in a calm peaceful place. try meditating and praying to achieve this.
Practice self- care. By taking care of yourself mentally, emotionally, spiritually, physically. putting yourself first isn’t selfish it’s necessary to take care of others well.
Take baby steps. Break whatever you’re trying to do into smaller chunks, be happy as you progress. Go at your own pace.
Believe in yourself. You can do it. Have confidence that you’re stronger than you think.
Don’t let fear stand in your way of what you really want, face fear and do it anyway so that you can live the life that you want to live.
