MORNING ROUTINE THAT WILL CHANGE YOUR LIFE…7 CALMING RITUALS

I love my morning routine now!

Frequently I say to myself “I have the best life ever” And yes, it’s the same old me. It wasn’t like that all of my life, but it has been the last 15 years. When I finally started my deeper self-development, self-love journey.

When I really started to get into self-care and putting myself first and realized that people living their best life did this and had morning routines and rituals. I decided to become a person living their best life. I can’t even wait for my morning rituals, it’s my favorite time of the day. It’s a sacred time to invite peace and grace into your life.

Mornings hold some magical power.

High vibrational feelings. Time for a fresh start a new beginning. It helps to fuel me throughout the day. Having a morning routine is a huge part of self-love. You show love for yourself not only through words but also through actions. Doing this doesn’t have to take a lot of time or cost any money.

THE MIRACLE MORNING ROUTINE

STEP 1- WAKE UP EARLY

The early morning hours when everyone is still sleeping is magic. It’s the time of calmness and peace. New ideas come to you. Waking up early for me works the best. Even when my kids were young, this was the time I loved because it mentally prepared me for the day.

When I open my eyes and wake up I like to say “thank you” for another day, for another opportunity. I usually like to think of 5 things that I’m grateful for. This seems to shift my energy into a higher vibe. When I do this, it always leads to more things to appreciate and puts me into a healthy mindset.

I like to drink a glass of water because our bodies are dehydrated when we wake up. Then it’s coffee time for me. This time is so special because I can hear my own thoughts and intuition. Then I write in my journal to sort out thoughts, make intentions for the day. I like to think about what I would like to see in my life in a week, month, year, or even my whole life in general. What I would like, need and, see manifest. Although I do visualize myself in the future, I always take myself back to the present moment and appreciate where I am NOW.

I usually do a guided meditation and pray to my Higher Power.

STEP 2- HOT SHOWER MEDITATION

Water really takes away stress and is very calming. That is why we feel really good after a hot shower or bath. While showering, imagine washing away all the worries and anxious thoughts, any fears you might have. Really feel how you come out fresh, like a new person.

Some people like to hang eucalyptus leaves in the shower, it has serious health benefits, is an anti-inflammatory, natural immune booster, heals wounds, allergies, and uplifts your mood and energy levels. eucalyptus also clears your sinus.

STEP-3 WALK IN NATURE

For me, there is something very grounding in nature, being in the woods especially. I guess that’s why I live in the woods surrounded by trees, water, and wildlife. It’s very calming for me. When I go out for a walk something magical happens. I’m walking on the earth, the blue sky is above me and the clouds, sun, moon or stars if it’s nighttime. There are trees with branches and leaves flickering in the wind. flowers blooming, birds singing in chorus with one another. Animals are scurrying about with ease just doing their thing naturally without worry. everything just works in perfect harmony. I do this every morning with my dog.

STEP 4- BREATHE WORK

Breathwork alone is very powerful. I started my yoga practice about 15 years ago. Not realizing that there was anything like intentional breathing. I used to just walk around all the time breathing shallow breaths, sometimes when I was very stressed I would catch myself holding my breath. (All the things that are not good for your stress levels and peacefulness). In yoga class, I learned how to do breathwork.
For me, breathing and YOGA stretching and clearing out the tension that I hold in my body is huge!!

STEP 5- BRAINWASH YOURSELF BEFORE THE WORLD DOES

Get your mindset right. I like to read positive quotes and affirmations from some of the leaders in self- development that I follow. This inspires and helps me and then I can help the people that follow me.
You can listen to a podcast, audiobook, youtube videos.

Your job is to have a strong and positive mindset. A mindset where you are in peace with yourself, with your own opinion about yourself and the things around you. Where no one can hurt you or make you think that you are not enough.

STEP 6- SACRED BREAKFAST

For me eating healthy, clean, drinking a lot of water throughout the day works well. I try to limit my salt and don’t eat much sugar at all. I’m personally a vegan. I eat only plant-based food which makes me feel healthier.

Make your meals a sacred time of the day. Enjoy making yourself a nourishing fuel that keeps you alive and energized. I love making protein smoothies and oatmeal in the morning. I love being creative in my kitchen.

STEP 7- DRESS UP AND SHOW UP

Visualize your best self and show up as her (or him).

I work from home, but that doesn’t mean that I roll out of bed and just start working. I try to keep a schedule and for me that works. After my morning rituals of…

  • Getting up early
  • Showing my self some love
  • Practicing gratitude
  • Drinking a glass of water
  • Having coffee
  • Writing in my journal
  • Connecting to my intuition and listening
  • Setting intentions
  • Doing a guided meditation and praying
  • Walking my dog in nature
  • Doing yoga, breath-work, exercise, stretch
  • Taking a hot shower
  • Getting my mindset right with positive thoughts and affirmations
  • Having my sacred breakfast
  • I get dressed in actual clothes, not sweats and lounge pants. Call me old school, but I feel lazy if I wear sweats and raggy clothes during work hours. For me, this works.

I put the work in. I sometimes have to make myself sit down in the chair and write and then the words flow and it becomes easier. But if I don’t have the discipline to make myself sit I wouldn’t get the work done. I have a blog so I have to consistently write content and post it on my blog. Then I have to tell my followers on social media and email my subscribers that there’s a new post. It’s a lot of work, but I love it. But it does require discipline.

I have to do the work. It’s not going to just happen. I have a blogging schedule that I try to follow, and then I break the tasks down into smaller tasks for certain days.

I hope that this morning routine that will change your life…7 calming rituals, will inspire you to take care of yourself more and become a Peaceful, happy, successful person, living your best life.

I know that becoming a morning person can really be difficult, but in time you will see the impact of it and how addicting it can be.

    Love and Light,
