Peaceful girl in nature with bright sunlight

What I’m learning is that when you practice non- attachment that’s where your power is. It’s in not getting so caught up in how life’s supposed to be and how you think everything should work out. They say when you truly love something to “Let it go” and if it is meant to be in your life than it will come back to you.

Sometimes it’s hard not to get to attached to people and things or situations. We feel that we need to do that. Non-attachment is in trusting that the universe is handling things for you for your best interest. The power and strength and freedom is in not trying so hard to control the outcome of everything.

Let go of the need to control people and circumstances in your life, It’s impossible and exhausting.

There is a tremendous freedom in realizing that you can and only need to control your own self, your thoughts, feelings and actions. You’re really only responsible for yourself. We don’t have to try and fix everyone, they have to learn to fix themselves, doing so is taking away the persons power. If you want to help others than be an example. Be a strong presence, be a light and let them learn to figure themselves out.

Non-attachment doesn’t mean that you don’t love others or that you don’t care. It’s giving others respect to be who they are while loving yourself enough to not shoulder so much, like trying to solve everyone’s problems in your life.

While being a good listener, caring and compassionate is noble, it’s not if it’s to a detriment to your well being. Practicing non-attachment makes life easier, lighter, more fun. When you don’t attach to things and people it leaves space around you, allowing more to come, even if it’s not in the same way you thought it would.

Practicing non-attachment is letting go of old stuff that you’ve been carrying around forever. Let it go, thank the past good and bad and let it go. There were good times and there were bad times…release them. While appreciating and remembering the past, look forward with enthusiasm.

Practicing non-attachment is relying on your self, not expecting anything from others, realizing how strong and capable you really are. You can do things yourself, you don’t have to be afraid of anything. It’s very empowering to rely on yourself, not on other people or circumstances. You have choices, chances opportunities and abilities.

Practice non-attachment by letting go of the attachment to everything in your life, let it go just for a moment and just be…. Just be in the moment right here right now. Just relax and feel your true self, your inner spirit.

Practice non-attachment and believe that your higher power, God, Universe is working with you and for you, with your best interest in mind.

Have faith and trust, relax and release any attachments. Feel the freedom of it.

You are safe and while you can love your life and so many aspects of it and appreciate so many beautiful things, don’t get so attached to anything like you can’t live without it.

Love and Light,

Maria

      Rita,
Thanks for commenting on my post. I’m glad you liked it. Like you, I’m in the constant mode of trying to let things go and allowing new blessigs to come. I think it can be a struggle for all of us, we’re constantly evolving and expanding. It’s a practice.
