Strong girl walk down the street confidently

Do you have some life goals that you want to achieve? Are you procrastinating?  Making excuses rather than decisions? Do you want to take creative action? You have two choices, accept your life the way it is or change it.

Create little goals, habits, and routines every day that eventually add up to big results. Creating these habits puts you in a position for success. It doesn’t matter how big are small they are, or what they are, your goals are yours, the important thing is that you have them, even if it’s one. You should always have a dream.  Effective goals are specific, measurable, and have a realistic deadline.

Everything starts in your head, in your thinking.  You’ll need to spend some time by yourself to search your heart and soul for what you want. It could be something very simple or it could be something big like your life purpose, the process is really the same.

After you spend some time thinking of what you want to achieve, write it down, it could be long term or short term, write it down and look at it often. Be specific. What does it look like to you?  Make a plan of how you can get there. What do you need to do?  Give yourself a realistic deadline. Give yourself credit for coming up with a goal and a plan.

Believe that you can achieve it. This might take some time depending on where you are on your journey. You have to think positive, and if you don’t you need to start retraining your brain to do so because this will stand in your way if you don’t.

Use positive quotes and affirmations. Meditation and prayer also can help because it clears your mind of all thoughts and in doing so opens you up for more creative thoughts to come through. Make sure to block out negativity. Every day look at your goal or goals and say to your self ” What can I do today even if it’s fifteen minutes that would move me closer to my goal. You are now creating healthy routines and habits that will become part of who you are. You’re creating self-discipline.

Don’t underestimate what you can accomplish in fifteen minutes when done consistently over time momentum and traction begins and you will be moving closer to your life goals.  I personally use this approach all the time in my life, I like breaking the goal down into little chunks, bite-sized pieces.  This works for me because it keeps me from feeling overwhelmed. Learn what works for you.

Be your best supporter and encourager.  Be happy with your results as you move forward into the direction of your dreams.  Look at where you’re going by starting with the end in mind. Next look at where you are now and as you make progress no matter how small be proud of yourself for the results that you’re making. Feel the progression.

Visualizing is so important, imagining and dreaming about your life’s goals.  Many great teachers, leaders and successful people do this. It puts you in a state of allowing, it changes your energy and your mindset, so your not clenching up and being stressed about what it is that you want to achieve therefore ultimately blocking it.

Find a mentor,  someone that you look up to who is where you want to be. Look to see what they are doing. Stop procrastinating and making excuses rather than decisions.

TAKE CREATIVE ACTION by taking daily steps towards your life goals with daily habits and routines that add up to big results and success. You’ll be happy that you started. Be fierce and slay your life goals. You deserve it, You can do it. Believe in yourself. You’re stronger than you think you are.
