How I changed my life…By changing my thoughts.
Are the thoughts that you are thinking about contributing to or sabotaging your life? We don’t realize that we have the power to create our own lives by the thoughts that we are thinking. We don’t even realize what we are thinking until we consciously take notice of it. I know that’s how it was for me in my life.
It wasn’t until I read books and listened to people that were further along in life than me, in this area of personal growth and success. You have to know what you want in your life and If your thoughts don’t line up with what you want then change your thoughts and change your life.
Most of us really have an idea of what we want our ideal life to look like. We’ve been thinking and dreaming about it. We see it in your mind, in our imagination, visions of our higher self, our true self but… it doesn’t always materialize for us. If you try… you can remember and you can take the steps needed. And if this isn’t the case for you, it’s ok, you can figure it out NOW!
If the vision of what you want doesn’t quite match the reality that you’re experiencing, it can be discouraging.
Don’t lose hope! Make the time to imagine, dream, visualize, keep your thoughts positive to see results. One thought at a time, one word at a time. Consciously be aware of what you are saying to yourself repeatedly all day every day. It will most likely surprise you, it did for me.
From the time you wake up until the time you go to sleep, you are speaking to yourself.
During your sleep, those thoughts are now planted into your subconscious mind and it continues as you sleep. When you wake the next morning it begins again, you start right where you left off. Pay attention to what you’re saying to yourself. Are you criticizing, belittling, comparing yourself to others.? You can choose the thoughts that you think and create the experiences that you want.
Think positive thoughts instead of negative ones and you will see your life change.
You will notice a change in your energy and the vibes that you then give off. This will actually attract what you want into your life. Try it and you will see that it works, try something small at first.
Try to find good in every situation no matter how bad the situation seems at the time. Look for reasons to feel good, to be thankful, grateful and happy.
Choose to see the good or bad in any situation.
It’s your choice, It’s up to you. If you choose positive and good thoughts it lifts your spirit and you attract more positive and good things, its the law of attraction. Like attracts like. I’ve done it in my own life and I continue to do so because it’s a lifelong journey and process, but this works. Once you learn and master this, it becomes a new habit, one that has to be kept in check because if you go back to your old ways of thinking it will reverse. It’s a skill that can be learned, practiced and mastered.
This has worked tremendously in my life. I’ve read so many books on this subject and applied it. You really can change your life by changing your thoughts. This sounds simple enough but it really isn’t that easy because we have to rewire our programmed minds, stories that others have told us or stories that we’ve told ourselves for years. It can be done and it’s worth it. We have to tell ourselves a new story.
Be grateful and thankful for what you do have currently
Look for all the reasons to be appreciative. It’s really impossible to feel gratefulness, appreciation, and negativity at the same time. They are opposites. If you think a negative thought immediately replace it with a positive one. Practice this and you will create a life of your dreams.
Thinking positively isn’t living in denial
It’s actively choosing your thoughts, words, actions, energy and what shows up in your life and looking at the good in every situation. The more that you change your thoughts and focus your energy on positivity your world will start to change around you and for you, one step at a time. Bringing you closer to the beautiful vision that you see, that you created in your mind, living as your true self and your reality will match it.
Read positive quotes and affirmations look at them throughout the day
Be patient with yourself it’s a process one that changed my life. I didn’t realize how many times I was sabotaging myself until I became aware of my thoughts. When you actually pay attention to what you’re saying to yourself, you might be surprised, but that’s the point of your power, where you can start to change your experiences. You can change your life by changing your thoughts.
