Well we made it through the holidays…whew! It was great. There was good food, we had fun, plenty of gifts, decorations, everyone was mostly happy, But it was exhausting and now we have to find where we were on the (what about me) train. We do so much for everyone else and the holidays are no exception.
It’s a new year/new you. Time to get back in touch with your inner true self. If you find yourself asking where was I? You need to get in touch again.
What do you want, need, desire in your life? January is a good time to ask yourself that question, to think about the year ahead. As well as the beginning of every month, week, day. While you won’t always hit every mark you try for, you’ll hit some.
- First get quiet and still so that you can hear your true self, your inner self.
- Think, dream, fantasize, visualize about what you would like your life to look like.
- Breathe deeply, write, listen, connect with God, pray, meditate, stretch, go out in nature. Jot everything down it will sort out your thoughts and get you to know what you really want and will open up and create space for ideas to come.
- Be grateful, truly thankful for where you are now, where you’ve been and the lessons you’ve learned while you’re moving into new directions.
- Be around people that support you, while limiting the opposition. If you don’t have anyone in your circle right now than listen to podcasts and read self-help books.
- Tend to your own vibrations and energy. This is really the only thing that we can control.
- Your life is your creation. You’ve struggled to get here. Other people have responsibility for their lives and you have responsibility for yours. Don’t give anyone that power over you.

Feel it, dream it, imagine it. What do you have to do to break these 3 goals down into bite-sized goals to make them more realistic? What can you do daily, weekly, monthly, yearly to move you further along towards your goals?
Release any negative feelings and thoughts that could cause doubt and get you all twisted up, tense and stressed…breathe it out…let it go. Stretch it out, wring out the tension, in doing so you’ll create space for what really matters, for what feels good.
Be strong. What do you want? What do you see? If you connect and stay in touch with your inner self, you can feel your way to a new year/ new you.
