This is a great time of the year to remember to have some fall fun. Time passes by so quickly without you realizing it. I’m so happy and grateful that when raising my now grown children that we took a lot of time to have fun. We made Halloween costumes every year as a family. Decorating our home and carving pumpkins was something we looked forward to every year. It’s lovely how they now reminisce about those times remembering all the things we did. It’s time I don’t regret spending, on such special memories.
It’s especially nice where I live on the east coast. It’s so colorful when the seasons change. It can be a time of shedding the old and welcoming in the new, that’s how it always feels to me. Change can be good It refreshes you and gives you a new start.
This is such a colorful time of the year, with the leaves changing from green to orange, red, purple, brown. The air is crisp and cool with not so many bugs. You can go outside and enjoy the world around you. I like the winter, spring, and summer too but there’s just something special about fall. It’s also the last three months of the year, so I like to reflect on that and look forward to a new year ahead and new goals.
This time of the year reminds me of hayrides wearing blue jeans and boots. Pumpkin and apple picking, fall food, festivals, family and football. Try to have some fun every day even if it’s taking a walk, or going outside and appreciating the crispness of the air. Take the time to have fun, and create memories that will last a lifetime.
